Gratitude Note

Dear Mr. Fish,

I would just like to take the time to say thank you, for everything. Thank you Mr.Fish  for being there during the hardest of nights to get through. Thank you for being my friend when everyone left. I am so grateful that you wiped away the tears that my mother's death brought me. You understand me more than even I could understand myself, I am just so lucky to have my own guardian angel  in my life. I know this is all sappy, and you're not a sappy person but I just want to thank you for being you. Without you the me, I am today, may not have been here this far in life, getting through every day with a smile on my face. Thank you Arlay Joshua Arboleda for being in my life. You mean a lot to me and I owe you much more thank just you, but truly from the bottom of my heart thank you so much.

 Sincerly,

     Miss. Fish

Censorship: What is Acceptable To Write?

In my opinion there should not be a limit on what one is to write, the only censorship that should occur is who can view it. In life we are taught we have the freedom of speech, the same goes for having the freedom to write what we want.  Many topics may not be appropriate for certain audiences, but the right to write what you want should stay open minded. With the fight over censorship it becomes a little messy in terms of words and opinions, but in reality it is the administrative level that gets to decide what is going into what crowds.  Overall a person has the right to write what ever their heart desires.

Lost Dreams.

You open your eyes to see a dream catcher.
You ponder and wonder what is the meaning of it.
After you question yourself for minutes, hours, even days. Branches surround this dream catcher.

That is when it hits you, the dream catcher is you. It is surrounded in the branches but is still seen. Though you are still sitting and enjoy as everything goes on without you.
The security holds you close but being forgotten tears you apart.

You are a lost dreamer, stuck in a world of a coutinuous cycle. You wake up, you live, you wish to disappear.
As you let everyone around you grow you don't realize; you are already gaulped with in the crowd.
You are gone from the normal.
You are just a dreamer; being lost in a common world of casual claims .
Just a dreamer, slowly fading away

Welcome

My name is Cachzmiera, most people prefer to call me Caz; I welcome you to do the same. Many of the things I enjoy in the world of literature  are poetry, short stories, and fictional novels related to social issues in everyday lives (dealing with loss, addiction, and mental illness).  My favourite authors of these topics are: Amy Reed, Ellen Hopkins, and Ava Dellaria. I have been through a lot it the past year of my life so I would love to write about how to overcome some of the things I had to face to possible helps others through their own issues.

In the video 'Grit' by Angela Lee Duckworth, Angela explains how one person can be a genius but not have the effort to obtain the goal they will never reach it. Angela explains that 'grit" is the work and the reminders they put into to it every single day reminding themselves though now may be difficult the end goal will be a worth while outcome. I relate to this due to the fact, my main goal is to reach happiness in my own life.  Although this goal seem almost impossible in this day and age, if I wake up every day and at least try to make an effort towards my goals the goals are that much more closer. Over all this Ted Talk was a very inspiring experience and thoroughly enjoyed it.
